10 Hari Baru Mengaspal, Bus Listrik Surabaya Berhenti Beroperasi

(Sumber: instagram.com/divayrivaldy)SURABAYA – Mengaspal pada tanggal 20 Desember 2022 di jalanan Kota Surabaya, bus listrik Trans Semanggi sudah berhenti beroperasi sejak 1 Januari 2023. Itu artinya, bus bekas kegiatan G20 Bali tersebut hanya melayani penumpang selama 10 hari.
Dikutip dari situs Pemerintah Kota Surabaya, berhentinya layanan bus listrik Trans Semanggi di kota pahlawan dikarenakan Kemenhub tengah melakukan evaluasi operasional bus serta perpanjangan kontrak dengan Damri selaku pihak operator.
“Jadi kontrak antara Kemenhub dengan Damri dan tidak ada kaitannya dengan Pemkot, dalam hal ini Dishub Surabaya. Kita hanya menyiapkan jalurnya, rutenya dan fasilitas pendukung berupa halte dan bus stop,” kata Kepala Dinas Perhubungan Surabaya, Tundjung Iswandaru, Selasa (10/1/2023).
Ia menambahkan, masa kontrak penyediaan layanan bus listrik antara Kemenhub dengan Damri berlaku setahun, berakhir sampai 31 Desember 2022.
Sehingga bus listrik Trans Semanggi yang baru diluncurkan beberapa pekan ikut berhenti beroperasional.
“Jadi jangan salah sangka bahwa pemkot diberi bus listrik, bukan. Bus listrik tersebut milik Damri yang dibayar Kemenhub untuk biaya layanannya,” katanya.
Kendati demikian, Tundjung menyebut bila Kemenhub telah berjanji akan segera menjalankan kembali layanan bus listrik di Kota Surabaya.
Untuk diketahui, layanan bus listrik Trans Semanggi beroperasi sejak Selasa (20/12/2022) lalu. Pengoperasian layanan transportasi darat ini bertujuan untuk mendukung angkutan Buy The Service (BTS) di Kota Surabaya.
Setidaknya, terdapat 17 unit bus listrik yang dioperasikan oleh DAMRI di Kota Surabaya. Bus listrik tersebut, melayani rute koridor 3, yakni dari Terminal Purabaya – Jalan Ahmad Yani – Dolog – Jemur Andayani – SIER – Rungkut Madya – Jl. Dr. Ir. H. Soekarno – Jalan Kenjeran – Kenjeran Park PP.
