Dokumen Bea Cukai/ sumber : Antara MalangMALANG, Jatim Today – Bea Cukai Malang berikan asistensi fasilitas Kemudahan Impor Tujuan Ekspor (KITE) kepada pelaku industri. upaya ini untuk rangka mendukung kemajuan dan perkembangan industri dalam negeri.
Pada tanggal 02 Agustus 2023 lalu, tim asistensi fasilitas Bea Cukai Malang mengunjungi PT Batu Karang yang berlokasi di Jalan Parangargo Nomor 153, Genengan, Parangargo, Kecamatan Wagir, Kabupaten Malang.
Perusahaan tersebut berencana menggunakan fasilitas KITE untuk impor bahan yang digunakan dalam proses produksi.
Diketahui, fasilitas KITE ialah perlakuan kepada barang impor atau barang rakitan yang akan diekspor dan dapat diberikan keringanan bea masuk. Fasilitas ini ditujukan bagi badan usaha industri manufaktur yang berorientasi ekspor dan telah memiliki NIPER (Nomor Induk Perusahaan).
Melalui fasilitas ini, pemerintah telah mempermudah alur impor bahan baku untuk produksi barang jadi yang selanjutnya akan diekspor.
Terdapat dua jenis fasilitas KITE, yaitu fasilitas KITE pengembalian bea masuk atas impor bahan baku untuk diolah, dirakit, dipasang, dan hasil produksinya diekspor dan fasilitas KITE pembebasan bea masuk dan PPN Impor tidak dipungut atas impor bahan baku untuk dipasang, diolah, dirakit, dan hasil produksinya diekspor.
“Dalam rangka mengoptimalkan tugas dan fungsi Bea Cukai sebagai industrial assistence dan memastikan pemanfaatan fasilitas kepabeanan berjalan dengan baik sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku, kami secara kontinu mengasistensi pelaku industri. Diharapkan pelaku industri dapat mengoptimalkan fasilitas kepabeanan, sehingga dapat mendukung perkembangan usahanya,” kata Kepala Seksi Penyuluhan dan Layanan Informasi Bea Cukai Malang, Dwi Prasetyo Rini.
