Dua Pelaku Curanmor yang Videonya Viral Ditembak Polisi Surabaya
Pelaku curanmor saat gelar pers konferensi di Mapolsek Tegalsari, Surabaya.SURABAYA, Jatim Today – Dua pelaku pencurian kendaraan bermotor (Curanmor) yang aksinya terekam CCTV dan viral di media sosial akhirnya ditangkap polisi.
Keduanya kini mendekam di penjara Polsek Tegalsari, Kota Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Satu pelaku dalam kondisi kaki terpincang karena ditembak polisi.
Para pelaku berinisial AWS (27) asal Jalan Pogot 1 Buntu Surabaya dan YL (42) asal Jalan Karang Bulak Surabaya.
“Anggota kemudian pada Senin, 23 Januari 2023, sekitar pukul 13.30 WIB berhasil mengamankan dua orang pelaku di Jalan Karang Bulak 3 Nomor 21 Surabaya,” kata Kapolsek Tegalsari, Kompol Imam didampingi Kanit Reskrim AKP Marji, Kamis (16/1/2023).
Ia mengatakan, anggotanya berhasil menemukan identitas pelaku dan menangkap keduanya berdasar rekaman video yang sempat viral tersebut.
“Atas dasar berita dan video viral tersebut kami melakukan penyelidikan dan hasilnya ternyata identik dengan laporan yang kami terima di Jalan Wonorejo. Hasilnya, kedua tersangka berhasil kami ringkus di Jalan Karang Bulak Surabaya,” tandasnya.
Namun dia bilang, para pelaku sempat melawan petugas ketika hendak ditangkap. Sehingga memutuskan memberikan tindakan tegas dan terukur dengan menembak kaki keduanya.
“Sesuai intruksi pimpinan, kami melakukan tindakan tegas keras dan terukur terhadap salah satu pelaku berinisial AW. Sebab saat itu dia berupaya melakukan perlawanan dan membahayakan saat penangkapan,” katanya.
Begitu telah dilumpuhkan, AWS dan YL lalu digelandang ke Mapolsek Tegalsari untuk diperiksa.
“Saat diinterogasi mereka mengakui telah mencuri sepeda motor di tujuh TKP (Tempat Kejadian Perkara) di wilayah Surabaya dan dua pembobolan rumah,” lanjut Kapolsek.
Semua kendaraan hasil curian itu dikatakan Kapolsek, dibawa ke rumah YL di Jalan Karang Bulak 3 Nomor 21 Surabaya untuk dibongkar lebih dahulu. Setelah itu, onderdil dijual ke wilayah Madura, Jawa Timur.
“Sebagian telah kami sita untuk dijadikan barang bukti. Ada topi, baju yang dipakai saat melakukan pencurian motor dan satu set kunci T serta rekaman CCTV,” tutup dia.
