Henkky Wijaya, pemilik sedang mengawasi karyawan membuat senapan angin di pabrik.KEDIRI – Pabrik senapan angin bertebaran di Kabupaten Kediri. Salah satu UD Andalas, berlokasi di Jalan Welirang Nomor 25, Kecamatan Pare.
Melalui tangan Henkky Wijaya (44), pabrik yang mempekerjakan tujuh karyawan lokal tersebut mampu bertahan hingga belasan tahun.
Medio Oktober 2007, Henkky memulai usahanya. Berbekal hobi dan pengetahuan tentang senapan angin, wong asli Kediri ini berbulat tekad mendirikan pabrik senapan angin yang kini dikenal luas oleh pecinta olahraga tembak.
“Kebetulan saya hobi menembak dan dulu sempat jadi anggota Perbakin (Persatuan Menembak Indonesia). Kalau keahlian membuat senapan saya (peroleh) otodidak,” ujar Henkky ditemui di lokasi pabrik, Rabu (28/12/2022).
Ia menuturkan, produk senapan merek Bledex yang dibuatnya telah menjangkau ke seluruh pelosok Jawa Timur.
Dalam sebulan, Henkky menyebut bisa memproduksi sekitar 75 unit senapan berbagai jenis dan model. Diantaranya, PCP atau Pre-Charged Pneumatic Air Rifle yang dikenal sebagai primadona senapan angin.
Untuk model PCP ini, Henkky juga melayani berbagai model sesuai pesanan pelanggan. Namun rata-rata model klasik justru banyak diminati.
Berbicara harga, ia menyebut senapan angin karyanya dipatok mulai Rp 1,5 juta keatas.
“Harganya ada yang Rp 1,5 juta sampai Rp 5 juta. Yang Rp 5 juta juga ada, tergantung model pesanan pelanggan,” lanjutnya.
Selama belasan tahun menekuni usaha pembuatan senapan angin. Henkky mengaku tak selalu berjalan mulus. Bisnisnya sempat oleng akibat penjualan menurun drastis di tengah badai Covid-19.
Meski begitu, pria yang sempat melalang buana di Timor Leste ini tetap bersyukur. Pabrik yang dirintis tidak sempat terpuruk seperti di lokasi lain.
“Teman-teman itu banyak yang sampai pengurangan (tenaga kerja). Untung di tempatku tidak terjadi,” ucap dia.
Menurut Henkky, kunci usaha pembuatan senapan angin miliknya tetap eksis walau harga bahan baku impor terus meroket adalah inovasi.
“Harus berinovasi mengikuti perkembangan. Bulan depan nanti saya merilis produk baru yang bisa dipakai pada tekanan 5000 (Psi),” tandasnya.
