MUI Mojokerto Dukung Kapolri Waspadai Ancaman Terorisme Jelang Pemilu 2024
SURABAYA, Jatim Today – Majelis Ulama Indonesia Kabupaten Mojokerto mendukung pernyataan Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo tentang perperangan di Gaza bisa berakibat bangkitnya sel-sel teroris yang selama ini tidur, sehingga perlu mewaspadai kemunculannya.
“Kami mendukung pernyataan Bapak Kapolri tentang peperangan yang terjadi di Palestina jangan sampai membuat sel-sel (teroris) baru di Indonesia,” ujar Kiai Haji Ahmad Cholil Arphaphy selaku Ketua Umum Dewan Pimpinan Majelis Ulama Indonesia Kabupaten Mojokerto, Sabtu (4/11/2023).
Untuk itu, ia mengajak semua masyarakat Indonesia khususnya Mojokerto agar turut serta menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban bersama. Membantu petugas kepolisian dalam melaksanakan tugasnya.
“kita jangan percaya berita-berita hoaks. Kemudian kita jaga kesatuan persatuan. Kita jaga keamanan ketertiban, kesejahteraan, kedamaian,” lanjutnya.
Apalagi kata dia, saat ini Bangsa Indonesia sedang berada di tahun politik dimana perpecahan rawan terjadi. Makanya Kiai Ahmad Cholil kembali menegaskan pentingnya menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan.
“Beda pilihan silahkan, memilih sesuai hati nurani. Beda pilihan jangan sampai mengorbankan ukhuwah islamiyah ukhuwah watoniyah dan ukhuwah basariyah. Mari kita tingkatakn persatuan dan kesatuan. Kita tingkatkan keamanan sehingga daerah kita Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia sebagai negara yang aman damai sentosa terhindar dari bala musibah sebagai negara baldatun toyibatun warobun ghofur,” tutupnya.
Arahan Kapolri seputar kemungkinan bangkitnya sel terorid di Indonesia disampaikan saat acara Apel Kasatwil 2023 di Jakarta, Rabu, 1 November 2023 lalu.
Dia menyampaikan, sudah 57 orang ditangkap terkait terorisme pada beberapa waktu terakhir. Polisi harus mengantisipasi teror agar agenda Pemilu dan pembangunan dapat berjalan lancar.
Polisi juga mewaspadai munculnya sel-sel tidur yang terafiliasi dengan teroris. Imbas dari peperangan antara Israel dengan Hamas Palestina di Timur Tengah.
Oleh sebab itu, ia mengaku telah memerintahkan seluruh anggotanya untuk mengantisipasi serangan teror akibat peningkatan eskalasi tersebut.
Listyo juga memerintahkan jajaran untuk menindak tegas seluruh potensi atau tanda gangguan keamanan khususnya selama pelaksanaan Pemilu 2024.
