Pemilik ayam sedang memandikan jagoannya sebelum dipertandingkanGRESIK – Aktivitas perjudian tumbuh subur di Cerme Lor, Kecamatan Cerme, Kabupaten Gresik. Terdapat dua jenis judi yang diduga dijalankan warga setempat, yakni judi cap jiki dan sabung ayam.
Judi cap jiki diduga dibandari IM alias GJ, sementara judi sabung ayam digawangi oleh GP.
Mirisnya, praktik yang biasa dikenal dengan istilah 303 itu, telah lama berlangsung meski salah satu bandar kerap dijebloskan ke penjara.
IM saat berbincang dengan awak media awalnya mengelak dituding sebagai bandar judi. Walaupun dulu pernah, saat ini aktivitas tersebut dia katakan sudah tidak beroperasi lagi.
“Nggak mas, wis leren. (Nggak, sudah berhenti),” ucapnya, Kamis (5/1/20223).
Namun lambat laun akhirnya ia mengakui, namun dia bilang, praktik tidak sesering biasanya.
Berbeda dengan GP, dengan tegas dirinya tak mengelak sebagai bandar sabung ayam.
“Iki yo lahan ku, yo ancen salah yoan. (Ini lahanku, ya memang juga salah),” imbuhnya.
Pantauan di lokasi perjudian, GJ dan GP terlihat sedang bercengkerama bersama para pemain judi.
Hanya saja tidak ditemukan alat perjudian yang biasa dipakai dalam permainan cap jiki.
Di lahan yang banyak tumbuh semak belukar itu, dijumpai beberapa ekor ayam jago. Sebagian sedang dimandikan empunya, sebagian pula masih berada di dalam kandang susun berbahan kayu.
Selain ayam dan kandang, di lokasi juga ditemukan pagar arena terbuat dari karet hitam dan biru berbentuk melingkar. Benda ini biasa dipakai sebagai pembatas sabung ayam.
Terlihat juga sebuah limas rajutan kawat, kurungan bambu hingga karpet. Benda-benda ini juga merupakan alat peraga judi jenis sabung ayam.
