Warga Bawean bergotong royong membenahi rumah warga yang rusak akibat terjangan banjirGRESIK, Jatim Today – Hujan deras yang mengguyur Pulau Bawean, Kabupaten Gresik, Jawa Timur sejak Rabu, (18/1/2023) dini hari tadi, menyebabkan ratusan rumah di lima desa di dua kecamatan terendam banjir.
Lima desa tersebut berada di wilayah Kecamatan Sangkapura dan Kecamatan Tambak, Kabupaten Gresik, Jawa Timur.
Abidin, salah seorang warga Desa Daun, Kecamatan Sangkapura mengatakan, selain merendam ratusan rumah warga. Banjir juga menyebabkan dua warung roboh.
“Ada dua warung roboh karena banjir,” katanya.
Ia mengaku tidak kaget dengan adanya banjir. Sebab menurut dia, Kecamatan Sangkapura, Kabupaten Gresik, Pulau Bawean, Jawa Timur memang kerap menjadi langganan banjir.
Kendati demikian, banjir dikatakannya, cepat surut setelah hujan berhenti. Ketinggian banjir juga bervariasi. Antara 30 centimeter hingga satu meter.
Bila ditotal, terdapat 141 rumah warga dan sebuah pondok pesantren Tsamrotul Afkar di Desa Daun yang terendam banjir. Juga puluhan hektar sawah warga.
“Banjir juga merendam tiga dusun yang ada di Desa Kotakusuma, juga Dusun Telukdalam di Desa Kebuntelukdalam, serta Desa Balikterus. Jalan di Dusun Mangkuleban yang ada di Desa Balikterus,” tutupnya.
