Mustasyar PBNU Prof Dr KH Said Aqil Sirodj.SURABAYA, Jatim Today – Mustasyar PBNU Abuya Prof Dr KH Said Aqil Sirodj mengapresiasi hasil survei Lembaga Indikator Politik Indonesia (LIPI) yang mengumumkan kenaikan tingkat kepercayaan publik terhadap Polri sebesar 73,2 persen.
Menurutnya, kenaikan tingkat kepercayaan publik menjadi tolok ukur keberhasilan pembenahan di tubuh Polri yang kerap digaungkan oleh Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
“Semangat Kapolri untuk mereformasi kepolisian menjadi lembaga penegak hukum yang baik di mata masyarakat telah membuahkan hasil. Kita apresiasi,” ujar Abuya Said, Senin (1/5/2023).
Komisaris utama PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) tersebut menambahkan, untuk mengembalikan citra kepolisian tidaklah mudah, butuh perjuangan dan kerja keras.
Apalagi kata beliau, belakangan ini korps bhayangkara terus menerus didera berbagai macam persoalan yang menggerus kepercayaan publik. Seperti kasus Ferdy Sambo dan Teddy Minahasa.
Namun dampak dari sikap tegas Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo dalam menyelesaikan kasus yang menjerat anak buahnya itu, kini Polri semakin mendapat tempat di hati masyarakat.
Bahkan Abuya Said bilang, capaian Polri telah mengungguli Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK). Dimana setiap survei, lembaga anti rasuah tersebut selalu mendapat sentimen positif dari masyarakat. Sementara kini sedikit di bawah Polri, yakni sebesar 72,4 persen.
“Kenetralan Polri untuk tidak melindungi para perwiranya dari jeratan hukum maksimal saya rasa turut menyumbang kenaikan ini (hasil survei). Ini yang perlu dipertahankan dan harus terus ditingkatkan,” lanjutnya.
Kemudian Abuya Said juga menilai, tingginya hasil survei kepercayaan publik terhadap Polri juga berkat kinerja kepolisian dalam membangun komunikasi dengan masyarakat. Termasuk dalam memelihara keamanan dan ketertiban umum selama Bulan Ramadan hingga musim mudik maupun balik Lebaran 2023.
“Masyarakat banyak yang merasa puas dengan kinerja kepolisian saat menjaga kelancaran arus mudik Lebaran (2023). Tidak terjadinya kemacetan parah di kantong-kantong rawan macet selama musim mudik seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya turut memulihkan citra kepolisian. Padahal pemudik tahun ini juga naik signifikan setelah dua tahun pandemi Covid-19,” ujarnya.
Untuk itu Abuya Said berharap, capaian ini terus ditingkatkan dengan pula meningkatkan pelayanan masyarakat.
“Juga bisa diikuti oleh lembaga lain, agar tujuan reformasi di negeri ini bisa terwujud,” tutupnya.
